In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through the process to make sure your application is quick and hassle-free.

 Before you begin,

Check your eligibility

• Filipino Citizen and Philippine Resident
• Principal Cardholder must be between 21-65 years old
• Employed as a Regular Employee for at least 1 year or Self-Employed Profitably for at least 3 years
• For Self-Employed: must be a Security Bank depositor for at least 12 months
• Annual Income of at least PHP480,000
• Must have a landline number and email address

Prepare these documents

• A pen and paper (for signatures)
• PH mobile number
• Valid ID with photo
• A device with camera
• Annual Income of at least PHP480,000
• Proof of income or proof of business (for self-employed)

Tip: Use a mobile phone for a smoother application process.

1. Select You Savings Account

1.1. Visit the Savings Account and Credit Card Bundle Application Form

To begin your application, visit the Savings Account and Credit Card Bundle Online Application and click ‘Apply Now’. Make sure you’re using a secure, stable internet connection.

1.2. Choose your Security Bank savings account

After landing on the online application page, you’ll be prompted to choose from the following options:

• All Access Account
• Easy Savings Account
• USD Savings Account

Once selected, the page will be redirected to our online form. It will show you the account’s opening and maintaining balance requirements, application requirements, how long will the application take, eligibility, and the acknowledgement of the terms and conditions.

Carefully review this information before proceeding.

2. Choose your Security Bank credit card

2.1. Answer the existing credit cardholder questionnaire

Indicate whether you currently hold a credit card with another bank. If you do, you’ll be asked for details such as the issuing bank and the card’s age (must be at least 6 months old).

If you don’t have an existing credit card or if your card is less than six months old, prepare proof of income or proof of business.

2.2. Select your credit card

Before choosing the credit card, you will input your Gross Annual Income. This will depend on what Security Bank credit cards best suits you.

 You can choose between:

• Gold Mastercard
• Wave Mastercard
• Platinum Mastercard
• World Mastercard
• Cashback Platinum Mastercard

Then, put the name that you want to appear on the card.

In case you chose Platinum Mastercard or World Mastercard, you will be asked to choose the Billing Type—Single Currency (PHP) or Dual Currency (PHP & USD)

Note: Credit card application is still subject for approval.

2.3. Input your contact details and confirm through OTP

Enter your email address and mobile number. 

 Once you click ‘Continue’, you will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) to your provided mobile number. Input the OTP to proceed with the application.

3. Fill Out Application Form

3.1. Select the ID that you’re going to use and scan it using your device camera

To verify your identity, we will require you to scan a photo of a government-issued ID. Choose the government-issued ID that you’re going to use and click ‘Continue’ to start scanning both sides using your device’s camera.

Ensure that the ID is clearly visible and matches the personal details you’ve provided.

3.2. Take a selfie and a selfie scan

To ensure that all applications are secure and legitimate. This involves identity verification through two main tasks:

1. Live Facial Capture: Using your device’s camera, you will asked to take a selfie for facial recognition.

• Be sure to capture your face clearly, with good lighting
• Remove any hats, glasses, or masks during the photo session

2. Selfie Verification: The system will compare your live photo with the image on the ID you’ve uploaded to confirm your identity. Follow the on-screen instructions carefully for best results.

3.3. Sign three times on a white paper and take a photo of it

Write your signature three times on a white sheet of paper and take a photo of it.

3.4. Provide your Personal & Employment Information

Fill in your personal details below. Some fields have been auto-filled using your scanned ID. Simply complete the remaining blank fields.

Next is the declaration of your employment details.

Note: We only accept Employed and Self-employed for Savings Account and Credit Card Bundle applications.

If you don’t have a credit card with another bank with existing credit card yet in less than 6 months, you’ll need to upload proof of income or business documentation.

4. Choose how you want to receive the ATM card and credit card

4.1. Choose Preferred Branch

Select your preferred Branch of Account for your savings account.

4.2. Choose how you want to get your ATM card and where to deliver your credit card

You can opt to have your ATM card delivered to your home or pick it up at your preferred branch.

While credit cards are only delivered and can be sent either to your home or office address. The ATM card and credit card will be delivered separately even if you chose to have it delivered both in your present home address.

Note: Passbooks and checkbooks must be picked up at your branch of account and cannot be delivered.

4.3. Submit Application

After completing all the steps, click ‘Submit Application’.

After clicking, the reference number for your savings account will show and will be emailed to you. You may also expect an email regarding the update of your savings account opening within the next 48 hours.

You will also receive a separate email for the case number of your credit card within two (2) full banking days.

Note: Expect to receive email updates regarding your application for savings account and credit card separately.
