The Security Bank Foundation, Inc. recently signed an agreement with the San Pablo Parents Association, Inc. and Yakap sa Kaunlaran ng Bata, Inc. in support of the Organic Rice Production Project in Brgy. San Lorenzo, San Pablo, Laguna.
The Organic Rice Production Project aims to provide added income and access to affordable quality rice among the member families of San Pablo Parents Association, Inc. It also aims to generate the much-needed funds to support the association”s activities for children and youth in the community.
The agreement signing was led by Quiterio F. Bonilla, President of San Pablo Parents Association, Inc., Rafael F. Simpao, Jr., Chairman of Security Bank Foundation, Inc., and Amelia M. Lontoc, President of Yakap sa Kaunlaran ng Bata, Inc. Also present during the event were the officers of San Pablo Parents Association Inc. and Yakap sa Kaunlaran ng Bata, Inc., Security Bank Foundation Trustee Joey E. Mape and Security Bank Program Manager Mamelle Vigo-Cordova.
The grant given to the San Pablo Parents Association, Inc. for the Organic Rice Production Project is a reaffirmation of Security Bank Foundation”s long-term commitment to contribute to societal development and poverty alleviation through support of meaningful and sustainable livelihood development projects.
