Security Bank Foundation Inc., (SBFI) awarded a total of 15 new scholarship grants to deserving Business and Accountancy students for the school year. The University of the Philippines (UP), University of Santo Tomas (UST) and Centro Escolar University (CEU) were each awarded five (5) scholarship grants worth P55,000 per year for each scholar to subsidize expenses for their tuition, transportation and book allowance.
Snacks and refreshments were served after the awarding of certificates by the Board of Trustees, represented by SBFI Chairman Rafael F. Simpao, Jr.. Also present at the simple rites were SBFI President, Anastasia Y. Dy, Scholarship Committee Chairperson Evylene C. Sison, and Members of the Board of Trustees, Melissa R. Aquino and Joselito E. Mape.
The scholars from the respective universities include the following students: UP – Efrellene Galula, Hannah May Dao, Lester Enterina, Iris Gem Li and Monica Mei Perez; UST – Lance Frederick Li, Junelle Reyes, Maris-Zol Pepito , Edward Jayson Valencia and Jacqueline-Sue Villanueva; CEU- Jeffrey Magpantay, Ma. Eliza Mercado, Angelita Pineda, Ma. Fe Roanne Resurreccion and Jackquelyn Calago.
