Security Bank Foundation left the whole Alicia, Isabela community in awe with the turnover of its two-storey, six-classroom school building donation to Alicia East Central School last January 8, 2020. Under its flagship “Build a School, Build a Nation: The Classrooms Project”, Security Bank Foundation donates much-needed classrooms in communities where Security Bank has a presence while complementing it with training programs for teachers and school heads to help improve quality of education.
“While Security Bank is not asking anything in return for these donations, we do, however, request and expect that the principal, the teachers, the parents and the students of our public school beneficiaries will help maintain the condition of these classrooms. As you can observe, we have designed and spared no expense to make sure that these classrooms are conducive to learning and, by God’s grace, should last for more than 25 years. If you will examine the classrooms, you will see that we have provided good lighting fixtures, ceiling fans and the toilets even have bidets because we were made aware that public schools do not provide toilet papers. We are therefore asking the principal, the teachers, the parents and the students of our public school beneficiaries to please make sure that these classrooms are kept clean and well-maintained,” highlighted Rafael F. Simpao, Jr., Chairman of Security Bank Foundation.
Rodolfo Albano III, Governor of Isabela Province.
“Nagpapasalamat po ang bayan ng Alicia at ito ang first school building na donated by Security Foundation here in Alicia, Isabela. We would like to assure na ang mga kaguruan at mamamayan ng Alicia ay pananatilihing maayos at malinis ang school building na inyong binigay,” assured Hon. Joel Amos Alejandro, Mayor of Alicia, Isabela.
Nawa’y pagpalain kayo at mas madami pa kayong matulungan!,” expressed Ruby Garcia, Principal of Alicia East Central School.
