Manila, Philippines – Security Bank Foundation, Inc. (SBFI) continues to make waves in public relations and effective stakeholder engagement, securing two Silver Anvil Awards at the 60th Anvil Awards held at the Fiesta Pavilion, Manila Hotel last January 28, 2025.
The “School Painting” activity won under the Employee Engagement category, recognizing the program’s ability to connect Security Bank employees with the education advocacy. The activity engages employees to paint the first coat of school buildings to be donated and to participate in post-painting reflection activities which deepen their understanding of the challenges in education and reinforce their commitment to support education through advocacy efforts, donation, and volunteering.
Meanwhile, the “School Building Ko, Aalagaan Ko” campaign earned an award under the Change Communication category for its success in encouraging schools to take accountability on the proper care and maintenance of donated school buildings, critical in ensuring the sustainability and long-term use of infrastructure investments.
“We enjoin various stakeholders to commit to elevate the education of our youth so that we can empower them to become future leaders of our country. Let us remain steadfast in striving for better education for our Filipino students, for a better tomorrow for our beloved Philippines, and for the greater glory of God,” expressed SBFI Chairman Rafael F. Simpao, Jr. .
Presented by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Award is considered the “Oscars” of public relations. The two awards were received by SBFI Trustee Melissa Aquino, Executive Director Louie De Real, and Communications and Resource Mobilization Officer Ricardo Llego. These recent wins bring SBFI’s Anvil Award count to six since 2020, including one Gold and five Silver awards.
