The Gold Circle Welcome Rewards Promo is a promotional campaign that aims to encourage new customers of the bank to immediately enroll to the Gold Circle upon account opening so they may get access to priority banking and to a full suite of VIP perks and benefits starting with a Welcome Gift of up to 100,000 Credit Card rewards points. 

The promo runs from February 1 to June 30, 2025. 

The Promo is open to New-To-CASA (“NTC”) clients who will enroll to become a Gold Circle member and maintain the required Total Relationship Balance2 or “TRB” of PHP500,000, or its equivalent for third currency products.  

NTC clients are defined as clients who open their first savings account within the Promo Period. He/She must not have an active Checking Account and Savings Account (CASA) up to 12 months prior to account opening. He /She must be the primary account owner of the savings account to qualify.   

NOTE: For Foreign Currency Accounts, Foreign Denomination will be converted into Philippine Peso (PHP) using foreign currency conversion rate of the first banking day of the succeeding month. (i.e. For placements made from February 1 to 28, 2025, foreign currency conversion rate by March 1, 2025 shall be applied). 

a. Open your first savings account with Security Bank and enroll to the Gold Circle Program within thirty (30) days of account opening during the promo period.

b. Place fresh funds1 amounting to PHP500,000 within thirty (30) days from the account opening date and maintain the fresh funds1 of at least PHP500,000 for three consecutive (3) months (“Monitoring Period”). 

c. Maintain your Gold Circle membership for the duration of the campaign period. 

d. Client must have an active Security Bank Gold Mastercard®, Security Bank Platinum Mastercard® or Security Bank World Mastercard® or agree to apply for Security Bank Platinum Mastercard® bundled with their membership (subject to credit approval). They must accomplish and sign the Credit Card application form upon account opening/enrollment to Gold Circle.  

Get up to 100,000 Credit Card Rewards Points as your Welcome Gift. 

50,000 Credit Card rewards points credits shall be sent to the client after he/she successfully places fresh funds amounting to PHP500,000 within thirty (30) days from the account opening date and another 50,000 Credit Card rewards points credits when he/she successfully maintains the PHP500,000 fresh funds for at least three (3) months. Awarding of Welcome Gift shall follow below schedule:  

a. The rewards points shall be credited to their newly issued and activated Security Bank Platinum Mastercard®. 

b. To redeem rewards, cardholder must visit the official website of Security Bank and go to Personal > Cards > Rewards > Enter Store to select reward/s. 

To illustrate: 

The rewards points may be redeemed for cash credits, dining, shopping electronic gift certificate (eGC), items, miles, and more. To redeem rewards, cardholder must visit the official website of Security Bank and go to Personal > Cards > Rewards > Enter Store to select reward/s. 

The Gold Circle Welcome Gift is non-transferable and NOT convertible to cash or to any other form of reward.

PROMO MECHANICS

1. The Gold Circle Welcome Gift Promo shall run from February 1 to June 30, 2025.

3. An NTC client is eligible for the Promo and shall be awarded with up to 100,000 Credit Card Rewards points as a Welcome Gift provided:

a. He/She opens his/her first savings account with Security Bank and enrolls to the Gold Circle Program within thirty (30) days of account opening during the promo period.

b. He/She places fresh funds¹ amounting to PHP500,000 within thirty (30) days from the account opening date and maintains the fresh funds¹ of at least PHP500,000 for three consecutive (3) months (“Monitoring Period”).

c. He/She maintains their Gold Circle membership for the duration of the campaign period.

d. He/She has an active Security Bank Gold Mastercard®, Security Bank Platinum Mastercard® or Security Bank World Mastercard® or agrees to apply for Security Bank Platinum Mastercard® bundled with their membership (subject to credit approval). They must accomplish and sign the Credit Card application form upon account opening/enrollment to Gold Circle.

 Note: If a client’s application is withdrawn or rejected, he/she shall be ineligible to receive the reward.

4. Rewards: Qualified clients shall enjoy a Gold Circle Welcome Gift of up to 100,000 Credit Card rewards points as follows. The rewards will be received by the qualified customer in two (2) scheduled tranches:

a. To be eligible for the disbursement of the 2nd tranche, the 1st tranche milestone must be achieved.

b. Only fresh funds placed in accounts where the client is the primary account holder will be considered in determining the reward.

c. Qualified clients shall receive a confirmation advisory after the crediting of the reward.

d. Non-activated cards will not receive the rewards points.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Security Bank will never ask for the client’s OTP, CVC, and PIN via call, text, or email in relation to this promo.

5. Awarding Schedule: 50,000 Credit Card rewards points credits shall be sent to the client after he/she successfully places fresh funds amounting to PHP500,000 within thirty (30) days from the account opening date and another 50,000 Credit Card rewards points credits when he/she successfully maintains the PHP500,000 fresh funds for at least three (3) months. Awarding of Welcome Gift shall follow below schedule:

a. The rewards points shall be credited to their newly issued and activated Security Bank Platinum Mastercard®.

b. To redeem rewards, cardholder must visit the official website of Security Bank and go to Personal > Cards > Rewards > Enter Store to select reward/s.

6. The Promo may not be availed of in conjunction with any other offers or promotions by Security Bank for the same products.

7. Cancellation or non-activation of the subsequently issued Security Bank Platinum Mastercard® in accordance with this Promo disqualifies the client from receiving the Gold Welcome Rewards points.

8. The Gold Circle Welcome Gift is non-transferable and not convertible to cash or to any other form of reward.

9. All participating products are subject to existing policies and procedures of Security Bank including, but not limited to the following:

a. All accounts opened during the promo period will be subject to existing Know Your Customer (“KYC”)/account opening policies.

b. Accounts closed within 30 days of the account opening will be subject to corresponding early closure penalty fees.

c. All existing product eligibility criteria shall apply unless otherwise specified.

10. By participating in the Welcome Gift campaign, the client expressly grants authorization for the transfer, disclosure, and communication of personal and account information to and from Security Bank, participating merchants, service providers, and pertinent third parties. This authorization is granted for the explicit purposes of marketing and promotion, as well as for verification, checking, validation, and fulfillment in relation to this campaign.

¹ Fresh funds refer to funds which are newly deposited to Security Bank or newly booked in an investment and exclude those funds which are transferred or withdrawn from one product type to another or a different product type, or from a Security Bank affiliate to Security Bank or from the name of an existing accountholder/s to the name of a different parties, regardless of any interruption in the period of the transaction/s.

² Total Relationship Balance (“TRB”) is the combined balance across the customer’ accounts and investments with Security Bank, including the Average Daily Balance (ADB) of Checking and/or Savings accounts, Outstanding balance of Time Deposits and Long Term Negotiated Certificate of Deposit (“LTNCD”), Principal amount of Trust Investments, Acquisition value of Derivative Products, Fixed Income Securities Distribution (“FISD”) Products, and SB Equities investments, and the Annual Premium Equivalents of FWD Insurance Products.
