Frequently asked questions
What accounts can I use to pay with QR Ph?
To use the Pay via QR feature, you’ll need to have a Peso Checking and Savings account or an ESS (eSecureSavings) account. These accounts can be used when scanning QR Ph codes.
Which QR codes can I scan to pay?
You can scan any official merchant codes, as long as there is a QR Ph logo printed in the middle. However, please note that QR Ph codes printed in the Statement of Account of your billers are not yet supported. Additionally, QR codes for person-to-person transfers are also not supported at this time.
Will I be charged any fees if I scan a QR Ph code from a different provider?
The good news is that there are no charges for scanning any official merchant QR Ph code, even those from other providers. You can enjoy in-store payments under QR Ph for free using the app.
Is there a limit to how much I can pay using QR?
There is a daily payment limit of Php 50,000 when using the Pay via QR feature. This is a security measure to protect your account and prevent unauthorized transactions.
How will I know that my payment was successful?
Once you’ve made a payment using the Pay via QR feature, you’ll receive a successful payment notification via the app and a confirmation email through your registered email address. You’ll also see the transaction in your source account’s transaction history.
