At the Asian Technology Awards 2024, Security Bank was honored for Technology Excellence for Enterprise Software due to its new enterprise Operational Data Platform (ODP). The awards ceremony, organized by the Asian Business Review, took place on September 5, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand.   

Introduced in December 2023, the platform allows the Bank to transfer data instantly and give customers necessary information through various channels, including new apps. This facilitates hyper-personalization and better data management with cutting-edge technologies like data streaming and change data capture (CDC). 

 “ODP is a revolutionary event-streaming architecture that helps the Bank quickly and easily integrate real-time data, stream analytics, and more. It enables data to be accessed, transferred, and used in various ways, such as creating near-real-time data visualization, truly performant systems, and agile and real-time contextual personalization. For customers, this means receiving timely and personalized information and services, enhancing their banking experience significantly. ODP’s architecture is based on four core principles: scalability, resilience, elasticity, and autonomy,” said Lucose Eralil, EVP and Chief Operating Officer. 

 Moreover, the ODP boosts operational efficiency by integrating data and reducing traffic from legacy systems, while enabling the Bank to build new customer experiences quicker with less resources.   

 Looking ahead, Security Bank plans to leverage its data platform for real-time analytics using machine learning and AI, and is collaborating with industry partners to accelerate digital transformation and drive sustainable growth.
