Security Bank Corporation (PSE:SECB) received ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification by The British Standards Institution (BSI) at an awarding ceremony at Security Bank Centre in Makati City on September 21, 2023—making it the first local bank to attain this upgraded Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification.
Adopting the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 27001:2022 certification standards, BSI evaluated Security Bank’s information security risks in order to determine and implement a comprehensive suite of information security controls within the overall framework of a coherent management system.

Security Bank’s certification was awarded by BSI, one of the world’s leading standards bodies and founding member of ISO.
