Security Bank Corporation (SBC) was recognized for its leading edge retail banking services and commendable consumer experience. The Bank was lauded by local and foreign financial institutions during the Asian Banking and Finance Awards 2017 (ABF Awards 2017) and the Customer Experience in Financial Services Summit and Awards 2017 (CXFS Awards 2017) both held in Singapore.
Security Bank bagged three awards at the ABF Awards 2017 winning the “Advertising Campaign of the Year-Philippines” award for the third consecutive year. It successfully showcased personal experiences of clients from different walks of life in its BetterBanking Stories campaign. The Bank’s Credit Cards for the Tap Click Generation initiative also won the “Credit Card Initiative of the Year-Philippines” award. SBC utilized the convenience of the digital space by giving customers the option to do everything online and letting them acquire referral by means of social media through its Member-Get-Member program. The rewards program was also revamped to give cardholders a satisfying online shopping experience. The Bank also won the “Mortgage and Home Loan Product of the Year-Philippines” award for the competitive and convenient features of its products. SBC’s Fantastic Elastic flexible payment scheme lets clients adjust their payment preferences allowing them to advance or underpay an amortization as needed. SBC launched the 6 for 5 Home Loan promo which waived mortgage fees up to PHP 65,000.
Aside from the ABF Awards, Security Bank was also praised at the CXFS Awards 2017. The awards have been created to identify industry leaders that are setting new standards in customer experience and engagement. SBC was “highly commended” for Brand Engagement and Client Onboarding Initiatives. One of Security Bank’s most notable solutions is its Wholesale to Retail Banking service which provides a comprehensive approach in addressing the client-company’s banking requirements as well as their employees’ individual banking needs.
Over 80 banks participated in the ABF Awards, with judges from known accounting firms such as Deloitte, Ernst and Young, KPMG, and PwC Southeast Asia Consulting. The CXFS Awards meanwhile, is already in its third year of giving recognition to outstanding financial institutions that put customer experience at the heart of their operations and culture to raise customer satisfaction.
