Security Bank Corporation (PSE:SECB) hosted the second leg of its 2024 Business Forum with SyCip Gorres Velayo (SGV) & Co. at NUSTAR Resort in Cebu, as part of its commitment to provide clients with valuable insights for everyday business and investment decisions.
Themed “Unlocking opportunities for growth and investment,” the seminar featured remarks by Ceferino S. Rodolfo, Undersecretary for Industry Development and Investment Promotions of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Vice-Chairman Managing Head of the Board of Investments (BOI), about priority investment areas, government incentives and tax benefits, and how individuals and businesses can maximize returns.
DTI Region-VII Regional Director, Maria Elena C. Arbon, explored the potential of Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs), which play a pivotal role in bolstering the economy by stimulating job creation, driving innovation, and fostering economic diversification. She also shared key insights into sector-specific opportunities.
Finally, Atty. Jules R. Riego, SGV Tax Principal, discussed a topic closer to home: family constitution. His presentation highlighted how clients can protect their family’s legacies through effective wealth management and succession planning.
