The Zonta Club of Makati & Environs Foundation, Inc., with the support of Security Bank, honored eight outstanding Filipinas at the` Bravo Empowered Women Awards held at the JYD Hall, Security Bank Centre.
Now in its sixth edition, the Bravo Empowered Women Awards—held every two years—celebrate Filipinas whose courage, achievements, and service exemplify leadership with impact. Each honoree brings a distinct journey shaped by her industry and community, united by a shared purpose: to lead with integrity and serve with intent.

This year’s honorees are:
- Larissa Palma Chavez (Arts, Culture, and Heritage) – Art advocate who harnesses the power of storytelling to inspire social change, foster children’s literacy, and uplift communities.
- Maria Mikaela “Maiki” Enriquez Oreta (Business) – Business journalist advancing youth education and entrepreneurship through media and innovative programs.
- Doreen Alicia Gamboa (Culinary) – Champion of sustainable farming preserving culinary heritage by spearheading natural agricultural practices and community empowerment.
- Maryan Cabasag Diaros (Education) – Education leader pushing the boundaries of traditional curricula and advocating for inclusive learning for marginalized communities.
- Sittie Habiba Sarip (Media and Public Affairs) – Journalist and changemaker promoting peace, education, and cultural understanding while guiding Muslim women to embrace their faith and identity.
- Andie Estrada (Social Services) – Social entrepreneur forging sustainable food systems and improving livelihoods by connecting farmers and communities.
- Jamie Christine Berberabe Lim (Sports) – Karate athlete inspiring the next generation through excellence in sport and dedication to mentoring young athletes.
- Dr. Emmeline Elaine “Emy” Lambengco Cua-De Los Santos (STEM) – Surgical oncologist leading innovations in breast cancer care and promoting nationwide health education.
- Glenda Barretto (Lifetime Achievement) – A pioneering luminary in Philippine gastronomy, renowned as the visionary founder of Via Mare, one of the country’s celebrated fine-dining destinations established in 1975.
