As part of its expansion plans, Security Bank Corporation established its 300th branch in San Jose, Nueva Ecija in Central Luzon to extend its wide range of financial services and continue the delivery of BetterBanking experience in the countryside.
The branch opening is envisioned to promote entrepreneurship and help widen business opportunities for local Agribusiness and SMEs.

Since 2014, the Bank has focused on the retail banking business, providing the promise of BetterBanking through investments in technology and branch network expansion. With its fresh capital infusion in 2016 from the strategic partnership with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Ltd. (MUFG), Security Bank has accelerated its expansion plans, providing more financing to SMEs and enabling financial inclusion.
The branch was inaugurated on December 21, 2017 by Security Bank President & CEO Alfonso L. Salcedo, Jr. together with Executive Vice President for Branch Banking Group Leslie Cham. San Jose City Mayor Mario O. Salvador and Vice Mayor Glenda F. Macadangdang also graced the event.
To date, Security Bank has a total of 300 branches and 667 automated teller machines (ATMs). It plans to further strengthen the promise of BetterBanking by upgrading its digital solutions and sustaining branch network expansion.
