Security Bank Foundation turned over ten (10) units of brand new desk top computers to the Episcopal Church of the Philippines National Office for the St. James High School in Mountain Province in simple ceremonies last November 12 at the Security Bank Makati Head Office.
Security Bank Foundation Chairman Rafael F. Simpao, Jr. and president Anastasia Y. Dy led the turnover of donation to Episcopal Church of the Philippines Corporate Secretary and Counsel Atty. Floyd D. Lalwet and St. James High School Principal Dr. Placida G. Nerona. Also present during the activity was the members of the Board of Trustees of the Episcopal Church of the Philippines, faculty members of St. James High School and security Bank E. Rordriguez Branch Business Manager Analiza Oblenida.
St. James High School in Mountain Province is located in Besao, Mountain Province, and provides quality education for poor but deserving students in the Mountain Province and adjacent communities. It is managed by the Episcopal Church of the Philippines. The school’s main building, including its computer laboratory, was destroyed in a fire incident in 2012. The Foundation’s donation of desktop computers will be placed in the new computer laboratory of the school for the use of over 200 high school students.
