1. Definition of Terms 

The following terms and phrases, unless otherwise indicated in these terms and conditions, shall have the meanings hereinafter assigned to them:

1.1 “Promo” means this 12 Gifts of Christmas Raffle Promo. 

1.2 “Promotion Period” or “Promo Period” is from October 15, 2025 until March 31, 2026. 

1.3 “Bank” or “SBC” or “Security Bank” means Security Bank Corporation. 

1.4 “Eligible client” means new-to-bank or existing-to-bank client who maintains an active Philippine peso denominated checking or savings account with the Bank and who were able to meet the eligibility criteria set forth in 2.2. 

1.5 “Primary accountholder” means designated as such in the Depositor’s AOSIF and in the system. Where there are none or where there are multiple primary accountholders assigned, the Depositor who has been a client of Security Bank the longest, as reflected in the system, shall earn the reward. 

1.6 “Fresh funds” means funds coming from outside of SBC and/or from SBC payroll credits which are deposited into the client’s Philippine peso denominated checking or savings account that are not counted as part of the client’s total relationship balance or “TRB” at the start of the Promo Period.  This should not include incoming transfers from other Security Bank products such as investment maturities and transfers from one SBC checking or savings account to another, whether by the same person or another SBC client/s. 

1.7 “Covered Period” shall refer to the start and end dates, which will be the bases of the fresh fund deposit transactions that will be considered for the raffle draws of the promo and its corresponding equivalent raffle entry. Additionally, client-initiated debits made to the participating account/s of the eligible registered clients will also be considered during this period. 

1.8 “Retention Period” means the prescribed period when the eligible registered client to the promo will retain the fresh funds deposited during the covered periods to qualify.  Additionally, client-initiated debits made to the participating account/s of the eligible registered clients will also be considered during this period. 

2. Promotion

2.1 This campaign runs from October 15, 2025 until March 31, 2026, as approved by DTI Fair Trade Permit No. FTEB-239868, Series of 2025. 

2.2. Eligibility 

2.2.1 Promo is open to clients with any of the following Philippine peso denominated checking or savings account in active status, whether opened prior to or during the promo period. 

2.2.2 Eligible clients must be an individual retail client and/or the primary accountholder for joint account holders. 

2.2.3 The following conditions are not qualified to participate in the promo: 

• Business/Corporate clients or accounts, trust accounts, “in trust for” accounts with a parent or guardian, foreign currency accounts, placement/investment accounts, and settlement accounts 

• Primary account holders of Philippine peso denominated checking or savings account that are below eighteen (18) years old 

• Customers with no valid emails and mobile numbers on records 

• Clients that did not consent to receiving marketing communications from the Bank (DNC-tagged clients) 

• Accounts with negative month-to-date average daily balance on the month prior to the campaign 

• Employees of Security Bank and its subsidiaries, as well as their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity 

• Clients tagged under the Negative File Information System (ENFIS tagged accounts) 

• Clients without no Philippine peso denominated savings and/or checking accounts 

2.3 To participate, eligible clients must:
2.3.1 Eligible clients are required to register through online form that can be found at https://www.securitybank.com/deposit-accounts-promos/12-gifts-of-christmas-raffle-promo/, via electronic direct mail (EDM), or via the Security Bank application’s in-app notification prior to depositing fresh funds to their CASA.
2.3.1.1 To register through the online form, client shall provide last name, active SBC savings/checking account number, and email address registered with SBC
2.3.1.2 Clients shall receive email notification confirming successful receipt of registration.
2.3.1.3 Only fresh funds deposited after the registration will be considered in computing for the raffle entries.
2.3.1.4 Only cleared/posted transactions are considered qualified for any given covered period.

2.3.2 After registration, eligible clients may successfully deposit fresh funds and perform select/identified transactions as indicated in the promo notification that will be sent through Viber/SMS and/or electronic direct mail and/or through advertisements and social media posts.

2.3.3 There are two types of raffle entries that may be earned:
2.3.3.1 Standard Raffle Entries – can be earned for every raffle draw and will be computed based on the set
parameters

2.3.3.2 Bonus Raffle Entries – can be earned for the bonus raffle draw and the grand draw and will be computed based on the set parameters and covered periods. This will be computed on top of the standard raffle entries.

2.3.4 There will be two ways to earn raffle entries:

2.3.4.1 Clients should meet the required minimum increase in month-to-date outstanding balance by the end of each covered period. Increase shall be computed based on deposited fresh funds within covered period and against the ending month-to-date outstanding balance from previous month.

2.3.4.2 Raffle entries may also be earned for Bills Payment, QRPH, and e-Load transactions done via the all-new
Security Bank App

Monthly Raffle Draws – Based on standard raffle entries only

Bonus and Grand Raffle Draws – Based on standard and bonus raffle entries

2.4 The following deposit transaction types will be considered as fresh funds and will be eligible for this promo: 

• Fund transfers coming from non-SBC bank accounts 

• Cash or off-us check deposit through any SBC branch, cash acceptance machines, or automated teller machines 

• SBC payroll credits (for SBC payroll accounts) 

2.5 Balances from savings accounts in foreign currencies are not included in the computation for raffle entries. 

2.6 Debits initiated by the eligible registered clients, along with deposited and retained fresh funds, to ALL their existing active Philippine peso denominated checking and/or savings account/s with SBC will also be considered when computing earned raffle entries.

2.7 Raffle entries that will be considered for the monthly draws should be earned within the prescribed covered periods. Winners of past monthly draws will no longer be included in the succeeding monthly draws but may still earn additional raffle entries until the end of the promo period for more chances of winning in the bonus and grand raffle draws.

2.8 All raffle entries earned within the promo period will be considered for the bonus and grand raffle draws. All clients that participated, regardless of whether they have already won the monthly raffle draws, will be included in the bonus and grand raffle draws.

2.9 Notifications containing the cumulative number of raffle entries will be sent to registered clients through email and/or Viber/SMS within seven (7) banking days after the end of the covered period of each raffle draw.

• Clients who wish to participate should ensure that their contact information with SBC is complete and updated so they are able to properly receive notifications related to the promo. 

• Notifications directly received pertaining to the promo should not be forwarded by the recipient.

2.10 Schedule for Awarding the Rewards

The raffle draws will be done via a private Zoom or Teams meeting with SBC personnel and DTI representative’s supervision and shall be scheduled accordingly: 

2.11 Claiming of Rewards

2.11.1 By opting in/registering to the promo, winners effectively authorize SBC to disclose and publish their names for promotional purposes and will be posted on the campaign website page without compensation and further prior notice.

2.11.2 The winners shall be notified by registered mail, Viber, and/or a call from the branch of account based on the details indicated in SBC records including SMS and/or electronic direct mailer within fifteen (15) business days after each draw.

2.11.3 To be able to claim the prize, the winner shall submit the signed and notarized quitclaim and waiver along with a valid identification. Failure to submit within sixty (60) banking days will automatically result in forfeiture.

2.11.4 For cash prizes, the winners shall provide the SBC CASA where the prizes will be credited and their tax identification number.

2.11.4.1 Cash winnings shall be credited to the nominated SBC CASA of the winner within fifteen (15) banking days after the signed and notarized quit claim and waiver is already provided to the Bank.

2.11.4.2 The winners should make sure that the nominated Philippine-denominated CASA with SBC remains active for the reward to be credited. If winners have no existing active Philippine denominated savings or checking account at point of awarding, the reward will be forfeited.

2.11.5 Prizes in the form of premium items (gadgets, vehicles, etc.) are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash or any other instruments/products.• Travel prizes should be booked within sixty (60) banking days from the time the winner was notified by SBC provided the signed and notarized quit claim and waiver is already submitted to the Bank.

2.11.6 Travel period should be until October 2026 only.

2.11.6.1 Travel prizes are not convertible to cash but may be transferable as long as endorsed by winner.

2.11.6.2 Other expenses on top of the declared inclusions shall be shouldered by the winner.

2.11.6.3 Completion of requirements for visa application and other required travel documentation shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.

2.11.6.4 The roundtrip travel tickets are to be provided by a third-party provider, subject to their respective terms and conditions. The third party provided will be responsible for any matters arising from or in connection with the prizes, services, and/or information they provide in relation to which Security Bank will have no liability whatsoever. Any inquiry or complaint regarding the prices, services, and/or information should be directed to the third-party provider. Security Bank will not be held liable for the quality and availability of the prizes, services, or information provided by the third-party provider, and excludes liability in connection with the promotion once the winner/s enjoys any benefit related to the promotion to the full extent permitted by law.

2.11.7 For motor vehicle prizes, SBC shall shoulder the cost of the unit, compulsory third party liability insurance, and three-year LTO registration. Other expenses that may be incurred shall be shouldered by the winner.

2.11.7.1 Color may vary depending on availability.

2.11.7.2 Release venue is within National Capital Region only.

2.11.8 Applicable taxes on the raffle prizes shall be shouldered by SBC.

3. General

3.1 Clients participating in this promo have the responsibility to review the promo’s terms and conditions governing the promo, other opening and maintenance of accounts, including those on Data Privacy, as well as other terms and conditions governing deposit products, services, and/or facilities, and acknowledge that the terms and conditions referred to above may be amended from time to time. 

3.2. Security Bank Corporation officers, directors, and employees and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are disqualified to join this promo. 

3.3 All questions and disputes with respect to the Promo shall be resolved solely by the Bank with the concurrence of DTI, and any decision shall be binding and conclusive on the qualified clients.

Additional notes:

• Balances from savings accounts in foreign currencies are not included in the computation for raffle entries.

• Fresh Funds – Deposits coming from outside SBC (cash/check over-the counter deposits, incoming transfers from other banks) and/or from SBC payroll credits.

• Outstanding Balance – total amount of money currently held in a checking or savings account. It represents the account’s available balance at a specific point in time, including funds that have been deposited and not yet withdrawn or transferred.

• Covered Period – Start and end dates in which deposited fresh funds will be considered in relation to the promo

• Retention Period – Required period when the eligible registered client to the promo will retain the fresh funds deposited during the covered periods to qualify for raffle entries

• Total CASA Relationship Balance (TRB) – Total outstanding balance of the client considering ALL existing active Philippine peso denominated checking and/or savings accounts

If there are no fresh funds deposited and the balance is not maintained for the full retention period, the promo requirements are not met.  Thus, client will not earn any raffle entries and will be disqualified from the raffle draws. 

• Raffle entries that will be considered for the monthly draws should be earned within the prescribed covered periods. Winners of past monthly draws will no longer be included in the succeeding monthly draws but may still earn additional raffle entries until the end of the promo period for more chances of winning in the bonus and grand raffle draws.
• All raffle entries earned within the promo period will be considered for the bonus and grand raffle draws. All clients that participated, regardless of whether they have already won the monthly raffle draws, will be included in the bonus and grand raffle draws.

You will be notified of the following:

• Nudges that you need to make the required deposits to start earning raffle entries
• Notifications containing the cumulative number of raffle entries will be sent to registered clients through email and/or Viber/SMS within seven (7) banking days after the end of the covered period of each raffle draw
• Notification if you won any of the raffle draws
