The Role

As a Swift Operations Specialist,  you will be responsible for the prompt and accurate dispatch of authorized SWIFT and RTGS messages in compliance with the existing work standards and procedures

How you’ll contribute

• Retrieves incoming SWIFT and RTGS messages from SWIFT Message File to account all messages
• Ensures completeness of SWIFT and RTGS messages based on SWIFT Message File and Incoming Philpass transactions and Log Sheet to determine all incoming messages are accounted for.
•   Imports outgoing Bank of New York Treasury Edge messages from CPEX to authorization queue to dispatch the outgoing message via the BNY Treasury Edge system
• Modifies SWIFT message for dispatch by amending the message in the modification queue of the SWIFT system to correct any errors on previously encoded SWIFT messages
• Verifies in case the Verifier is not  available outgoing SWIFT message by checking / reviewing messages in the verification queue to validate messages prior to release.
• Prepares SWIFT incoming and outgoing volume report based on the SWIFT Message File to provide management with MIS report
• Ensures timely and accurate distribution / delivery of SWIFT and RTGS incoming messages via email or hard copy to the HO units and / or branches to provide them copies for their file and disposition.
• Ensures all SWIFT incoming message are forwarded to intended messages via an acknowledgement of the hard copy document in the Log Sheet to determine the person and date of receipt of the SWIFT message
• Checks completeness of Incoming Sequence Number (ISN) of SWIFT Incoming messages based on the SWIFT Message File downloaded in an excel file to determine that all incoming swift messages are received

• Bachelor’s Degree in  Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
• Fresh graduate / less than 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of Banking
• Computer literate
• Keen to details
