The Role
The Systems Officer aids in the translation of strategies and process flows into system enhancements, thoroughly tests changes before moving to production, and provides comprehensive support for the investigation of system inquiries and/or any issues/errors encountered in the system.
How you’ll contribute
Policy & Procedures
- Comply with department and company policy, procedures, and code of conduct at all times
Participation and Feedback
- Fulfill mandatory training classes
- Meet with line manager to brainstorm and find ways to improve system performance
- Brainstorm with the manager on prioritization of system change requests and enhancements
- Attend project-related steer-coms with the manager and project team
Operations
- Set up accounts and manage user access rights promptly
- Translate collection strategies and process flows into system enhancements
- Understand the nature of system change proposals, prepare test cases, and thoroughly test changes before moving into Production
- Provide comprehensive support for the investigation of system inquiries and/or any issues encountered in the system
- Escalate production errors and monitor the implementation of corrective measures
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to provide robust design inputs as part of requirement and design analysis
- Manage the delivery of system-related projects within service level agreement

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
- At least 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience in system administration, testing, and parameter management
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT, OPEN APPLICATION)
- Good oral & written communication
