The Role
As Risk Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for scoping the market for the latest databases, tools, and systems to integrate into Underwriting, Fraud, Credit Risk, and Collection processes for automating and making better credit decisions. This person will work with the providers of the databases to set up the back-testing or proof of concept. For any add-on (non-core) risk systems or tools acquired, the Manager will act as the system administrator, managing the setup and changes of processes and parameters.
How you’ll contribute
System Administration
- Manage the setup and changes to processes and parameters of acquired, add-on (non-core) risk systems and tools.
- Manage the RFP process, contract / on-boarding requirements, prepare the BRD, review the functional specifications, and perform UAT.
Database Management
- Create and manage an integrated database across the Risk Division so that all risk-related data is accessible, consistent, and accurate.
- Scope the market for the latest available databases to be integrated into Underwriting, Fraud, Credit Risk, and Collections for automation and better credit decisions.
- Prepare the plans for back-testing and proof of concept
- Justify the cost-benefit of accessing the databases
Collaboration
- Work closely with Underwriting, Fraud, Credit Risk, and Collections to understand their data / system / tool needs, and find potential vendors in the market that can provide the appropriate solutions
- Coordinate among the vendors, IT, and Risk departments to get the data / system / tool launched
- Work with the Customer Experience team to integrate the tools into the mobile app seamlessly
Project Management
- Manage the launch of databases, system, and tools according to best practice standards of project management
- Deliver the solutions on time and as per the business requirements

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce, Finance / Accountancy / Banking
- At least 10 yrs relevant experience
- Relevant work experience in consumer lending – underwriting, fraud, credit risk, and/or collections
- Experience managing systems (e.g. parameters and processes), performing UAT, etc.
- Able to coordinate projects and collaborate across multiple functions and among multiple stakeholders
- Convert business needs into solutions
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT)
- Good oral & written communication
- Result-oriented and a team player
