The Role
As an Operations Specialist , you will be responsible for the timely and efficient processing of domestic inward remittance from overseas contract workers in accordance with internal/external policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
How you’ll contribute
- Check and ensure the propriety, completeness of details, signature verification, approval of branch officers for all OTC TTAF received from the branches and thru digi banker applications prior to remittance via Peso Net or PDDTS systems.
- Review that proper accounting entries are encoded and approved in the remittance system.
- Monitor completion of fund transfer by checking BSP and Citibank SOA on a daily basis.
- Monitor and ensure the crediting back of funds to the client in case there are returned or rejected payments by verifying daily the Inward File of Peso Net and SWIFT advices.
- Act as reliever vice other Processors of the units.
- Maintain and ensure proper filing and recording of transactions and safekeeping of documents.
- Prepare and submit in a timely manner internal and external reports.
- Prepare, distribute, and generate inward remittances/allotment from OFWs received from various employers of OFWs who have agreement with the Bank via the Peso Net or PDDTS (Phil. Domestic Dollar Transfer) systems.
- Consolidate and remit funds of Over the counter (OTC) Telegraphic Transfer Applications Form (TTAF) received from various branches via Peso Net or PDDTS system.
- Performs other related tasks which be assigned from time to time.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Commerce, Finance, Accountancy, and Banking
- Fresh graduate with less than 1 year of experience
- Computer literate. Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and internal parties; keen to details
