The Role
As a Loan Operations Officer, you will be in-charge of monitoring the bank’s loan exposure limits, maintenance of databases relevant to reports and preparation/submission of internal/external reports on bank wide credit risk exposures. The monitoring/reporting would be for the regulatory compliance and for the top management to use these for the decision making and strategic planning.
How you’ll contribute
- Prepares regulatory and top management reports (CREDEX-Form 6, MSME & LCR by consolidating/tagging the customer, collateral and loan information to comply with the BSP requirements and provide the top management report analytics.
- Prepares credit exposures classified by industry, book type, security and regulatory limits (i.e. Single Borrowers Limit (SBL), DOSRI and group) by Gathering/consolidating all the necessary info to come up with the reports on a daily/monthly/ quarterly basis to ensure that the bank exposures are still within the limits set by the BSP and top management.
- Reviews confirmation of balances by gathering/consolidating the loan exposures from different source/booking units to comply to the requirements of external auditors.
- Reviews release of collaterals by checking the status of individual or group’s exposures to ensure that the account has no other past due exposures before releasing the lien.
- Reviews Deposits maintained checking the completeness of loan transactions secured by deposits/placements to comply to the CAR requirements of BSP.
- Reviews Customer and collateral data mining Gathering of info from appraisal reports, database from source units and Credit Proposals (CP) -as these will be used in the preparation of various internal /external reports.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
- At least 1-2 years experience in Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, Leasing/Financing Institutions
- Knowledge on bank products and/or processes
- With MS Office skills, good written, oral and analytical skills
- Keen attention to details
