The Role

MIS Officer manages the daily/weekly/monthly production of relevant underwriting performance reports used for managing the overall performance of various underwriting processes and personnel.  Generally, the MIS Officer will be responsible for data gathering, consolidation, data processing, monitoring, and analysis. He/she will work with the MIS Support Team Leader to effectively manage and assess data that has an impact on various Underwriting processes.

How you’ll contribute

Policy and Procedures

• Comply with department and company policy, procedures, and code of conduct at all times.

Participation

• Attend monthly performance review sessions with Line Manager to get and give feedback.

Operations

• Provide all underwriting performance reports within service level agreements (timely and accurately)
• Monitor trends in underwriting performance and provide timely feedback about these trends to the Line Manager
• Ensures data integrity and cleanliness in the database, system, and reports.
• Prepares and creates reports for ad-hoc analysis to better understand underwriting performance trends.
• Monitor, review, and report scorecards and incentive-related data/activities in compliance with the
  current policies and procedures.
• Perform requirements gathering and analysis by interacting with various stakeholders and subject matter
  experts to understand data issues.

What we’re looking for

• Fresh Graduate or Graduate and/or with 5 years relevant work experience in MIS and Data Analysis preferably in Banking, Financial Technology/Fintech, Information Technology, Real Estate Development Industry
• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking; Computer Science/Information Technology.
• Knowledge of credit process & business analysis
• Critical thinking skills, proactive and flexible to changes
• Able to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in the use of computer programs
• Service-oriented, values integrity at work
• Knowledgeable on SAS and/or any other Excel-related programs for MIS/data processing.
