The Role
As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project implementation, system deployment and enhancements, transformation initiatives, and other system updates as part of the BAU Activities under Financial Control (FINCON), following the bank’s applicable project methodology and process. And also, you’ll perform and conducts Project Management Office activities to support FINCON in Enterprise-wide projects
How you’ll contribute
- Create and coordinate a project plan and the timeline for each initiative with all identified stakeholders following the applicable methodology
- Ensure that the implementation is properly monitored and documented by driving/providing regular status updates, tracking and closing of RAID Items, and timely escalation as needed. supervisor to escalate any issues for proper resolution.
- Drives issue resolution and coordination of all support needed.
- Ensure documents are properly maintained/signed off/closed on time
- Support business in resource planning for each project engagement and in creating a pipeline of activities to support Management Objectives
- Observes strict maker-checker policy with all the reports and other tasks handled to help strengthen operational control.
- Drive planning and coordination of timeline for regular Chart of Accounts Updates, System Fixes, Oracle License Reviews, Oracle Update Management, and other activities requiring monitoring and closure.
- Drives continuous process improvement – Identify areas for improvement for FINCON and drives implementation
What we’re looking for
- Have at least 10 years of experience in Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, and Financing Institutions
- Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- In-depth experience in Project Implementation and System Enhancement and Implementation through Waterfall and Agile Methodology
- Working knowledge of Finance and Accounting; Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel/ MS Word/ MS Outlook / SharePoint
- Able to communicate professionally, proactively, and effectively with all levels of the organization
