The Role

As an IT Senior Procurement Officer, you will handle sourcing, canvassing, negotiating and placing orders for the requirements of the Bank. Reviews and supervises team member’s performance.

How you’ll contribute

• Guides subordinates on queries/consultations on day to day transactions.
• Prepares accomplishment report and supervises team member performance.
• Canvasses, negotiates and places orders for approved canvass summary for the following items handled construction materials, furniture and fixtures, giveaways, security equipment/devices, photographic streamers/banners/decals, printed forms (regular and accountable forms), checks and checkbooks, office supplies, marketing and merchandising materials, customized/regular checks, IT-related equipment, peripherals and accessories, office equipment, hardware and electrical, books and subscriptions, vehicles under bank car/car plan program, other regular items, and other special/non-regular items.
• Routes all approved e-source requisitions to respective buyers.
• Monitors  on-time delivery through follow up with respective suppliers.
• Checks and monitors activities on pending tasks or assignments.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or any related field.
• Have at least 6 years experience in Banking and Financial, IT-Hardware, IT-Software, Purchasing/Material Management
• Knowledge on procurement
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to negotiate best quality at least possible cost and manage suppliers
