The Role

As a Loan and Documentation Review Specialist, you will handle the preparation of loan documents and initial booking review of mortgage loans within the agreed turn-around time and based on approvals, Bank policies and procedures, applicable laws, and BSP regulations to support the objectives and meet the targets of Mortgage Banking Group.

How you’ll contribute

• Confirms completeness of submitted post-approval and pre-booking documents based on the checklist to facilitate review of REM Registration and/or mortgage loan booking. Information / Records Administration.
• Claims case and receives the credit folder containing all the required documents to facilitate a review for REM Registration and/or mortgage loan booking.
• Creates Customer’s Basic Number in Luminous or confirms Customer’s Basic Number, if available, to create Customer’s unique identification in the system. Quality Orientation.
• Prepares loan and mortgage documentation that includes the pre-booking checklist and bank charges computation based on approved terms and conditions and submits post-approval requirements to facilitate loan signing of clients.
• Prepares document deficiency checklist based on submitted documents to be endorsed to the respective LDRD Officer for review. Understanding and Application of Compliance and Regulatory Guidelines
• Does the initial review of mortgage loans for REM Registration and/or mortgage loan booking based on a checklist of findings for endorsement to the LDRD Officer for approval.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s / College Degree in any related field.
• With at least 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of the mortgage loan process
• Knowledge of loan documentation
• Knowledge of credit and loan-related policies, laws, and regulations
• Customer focus Fraud detection and signature verification
• Detail-oriented Sense of urgency Able to adapt to the volume of transactions
