The Role
As a Corporate Sales Trader, you will meet the volume and P&L requirements of the Corporate Sales accounts based on client profile and historical business. You will handle Peso/Dollar TD maturities and fresh placements of assigned accounts, inclusive of pricing and acquiring disposition, and communicating with the branch. Responsible for the acquisition of new accounts. Prepares daily summaries of transactions in pesos and U$D TDs. Matches and verifies income reports against the report of MPR Finance.
How you’ll contribute
- Builds and maintains a good relationship with clients and counterparties through courtesy calls.
- Acquires new institutional accounts through client calls and referrals to expand the current customer base.
- Services institutional accounts based on client profile and historical business to meet volume and P&L targets.
- Distributes and markets primary deals from SB Capital to help meet volume and P&L targets.
- Manages PHP and USD TD maturities and fresh placements by providing optimal pricing, acquiring disposition from clients, and coordinating with the Liquidity desk and Treasury Operations/ Branch.
- Books fixed income transactions using TOMS or Guava Treasury System to ensure proper recording and monitoring of all transactions.
- Prepares daily reports based on summaries of all time deposit and fixed income transactions to ensure correct
monitoring of all transactions.
What we’re looking for
- Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking Finance/Accountancy/Banking or any related course
- Preferably with at least 3-4 years of experience in Fixed Income but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Able to deal with varied personalities both inside and outside the organization
- Can make sound and correct independent decisions
