As part of our efforts to provide a more seamless digital banking experience, the QR Pay mobile app will no longer be available starting October 24, 2026.
You can continue making QR payments through the All-New Security Bank App, where the QR Scan-to-Pay feature is already available.
Rest assured that this change will not affect your ability to make QR Ph merchant payments. You may continue paying participating merchants using QR Ph-enabled QR codes through the Security Bank App.
What do you need to do?
To ensure uninterrupted access to QR payment services, please switch to the Security Bank App before October 23, 2026.
Step 1: Download or update the All-New Security Bank App
Download the latest version from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you already have the app, make sure it is updated to the latest version.
Step 2: Log in or enroll
Download the latest version from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you already have the app, make sure it is updated to the latest version.
Step 3: Start using QR Scan-to-Pay
1. Open the Security Bank App.
2. Tap Scan QR.
3. Scan the merchant’s QR Ph code.
4. Complete your payment.
What happens after October 23, 2026?
- The QR Pay mobile app will no longer be available.
- QR payment transactions can no longer be made through the QR Pay mobile app.
- You can continue making QR Ph merchant payments through the All-New Security Bank App.
- This change will not affect your account balances, funds, or existing Security Bank accounts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still make QR payments after the QR Pay mobile app is no longer available?
Yes. QR Scan-to-Pay will continue to be available through the Security Bank App.

Not necessarily.
If you already use the All-New Security Bank App or Security Bank Online, you can log in using your existing credentials.
If you are not yet registered, simply download the All-New Security Bank App and enroll your Security Bank account to continue enjoying QR Ph payments and other digital banking services.
Will the QR payment process change?
No. The QR payment process remains simple and convenient. The only difference is that your QR payment transactions will now be done through the All-New Security Bank App instead of the QR Pay mobile app.
Will this affect my account balance or funds?
No. The discontinuation of the QR Pay mobile app will not affect your account balance, funds, or Security Bank accounts.
