BetterRewards Gadget Promo

A deposit promo for new BusinessPlus clients who maintain a pledged Average Daily Balance (ADB) for 12 months, in exchange for gadget rewards via Pluxee Gift Codes, redeemable at accredited Pluxee merchant stores.

Only new BusinessPlus clients opened in 2026 are eligible. They must also apply for DigiBanker.

No. The pledged ADB cannot be increased or decreased after enrollment.

Within 60 days from enrollment, after confirming successful hold-out.

Pluxee Gift Codes will be sent to the client’s registered email. These gift codes can be redeemed from gadget partners of Pluxee.

Yes. The Pluxee Gift Codes are valid for one year from the end of the promo period.

Fresh funds must come from other banks:

• Cash deposits
• Check deposits
• Local and international transfers
• Manager’s Check

There will be a penalty or deduction on your held-out amount. The penalty will be pro-rated based on the number of months your ADB was below the pledged amount.

Scenario: ADB was below pledged amount for 2 months

Pledged amount: PHP 3 million
Hold out/reward value: PHP 39,000
Calculation of penalty/deduction: (P39,000/12 months) x 2 months = PHP 6,500 total deduction

1. PROMO OVERVIEW

The Promo is open to New-to-Bank Business Banking Segment (BBS) and Commercial Banking (ComBank) clients.

Eligible clients must:

• Open a BusinessPlus or eligible CASA account in 2026
• Be onboarded in DigiBanker (CASA Manager)

The reward is issued as a Pluxee Gift Code equivalent to the qualified reward value.

Not eligible:

• Corporate Banking clients
• Accounts with special rate arrangements
• Accounts enrolled in other deposit promos with interest or reward mechanics
• Internal transfers, loan-proceeds-based accounts, or other ineligible fresh-funds sources
• Dormant, closed, or restricted accounts
• Accounts migrated outside BBS and ComBank

2. ENROLLMENT AND PLEDGED ADB

By signing the promo Agreement, the Client enrolls in the Promo and commits to maintain the following pledged ADB tier with the corresponding Reward Value:

Enrollment is limited to one (1) per Client.

The pledged ADB cannot be increased, decreased, or modified after enrollment for the purpose of qualifying for a higher reward value.

3. HOLD-OUT AUTHORIZATION FOR REWARD VALUE

The Bank will deduct from the hold-out amount only if your final Year-To-Date Average Daily Balance (YTD ADB) is lower than your pledged ADB. Monthly ADB figures will be used to compute your YTD ADB but will not by themselves trigger deductions. If your final YTD ADB falls short, the deduction will follow this formula:

(Total Hold-Out ÷ 12) × Number of Months the ADB Fell Below the Pledge

The Client expressly authorizes the Bank to place a hold-out on the enrolled BusinessPlus account equal to the reward value.

• The hold-out takes effect on the date of enrollment.
• The amount will remain restricted until the 30th day of the 13th month from enrollment and will not be available for withdrawal during this period.
• Any remaining hold-out amount—after any applicable pro-rated deductions—will be released at the end of the hold-out period, provided all promo requirements are met.

4. DEDUCTION OF THE HOLD-OUT ON A PRO-RATED BASIS

A pro-rated deduction will apply only if your final YTD ADB falls below the pledged ADB at the end of the 12-month monitoring period.

• The deduction will follow this formula:
  (Total Hold-Out Amount ÷ 12) × Number of Months the ADB Fell Below the Pledge.
• Any remaining balance after deductions will be released at the end of the hold-out period, subject to full compliance with promo requirements.

Sample Computation

Scenario:

• Hold-Out / Reward Value: PHP 39,000
• Months below pledged ADB (for reference only): 2
• This will be used only when the final YTD ADB fell below the pledged tier.

Formula:

(39,000 ÷ 12) × 2

Calculation:

3,250 × 2 = PHP 6,500 deduction

Remaining Balance:

39,000 − 6,500 = PHP 32,500

5. REWARD RELEASE

Subject to successful enrollment and placement of the hold-out, the Client shall receive the reward in the form of a Pluxee eGC or within sixty (60) days from the date of enrollment, via the registered email address on record with the Bank.

The reward is non-transferable and not convertible to cash.

The Bank may proceed with reward release even before the full 12-month monitoring period, as the hold-out mechanics ensure that any non-maintenance of the pledged ADB will be deducted on a pro-rated basis from the hold-out amount.

6. REWARDS EXPIRATION

Pluxee eGC rewards will be valid for 1 year after the end of the promo period.

7. MONITORING OF ADB

The Bank shall monitor the Client’s ADB throughout the twelve (12)-month monitoring period using its internal systems and standard fresh funds logic.

Considered Fresh Funds (from OTHER BANKS only):

• Cash deposits
• Check deposits
• Manager’s Check or Demand drafts
• Local and international fund transfers

Not considered fresh funds:

• Participation in other deposit promos with interest or reward mechanics (Premium Interest Rates, Business+ Bonus MAX Rewards etc.)
• Internal transfers within Security Bank
• Personal-to-business account transfers
• Business-to-business transfers
• Investment-to-business accounts
• Hold-out, encumbered, committed balances or any special conditions
• Loan proceeds

Accounts with special interest rate arrangements, committed encumbrances, or enrollment in other Bank promos (including Business+ Bonus MAX Rewards) are disqualified from the Promo.

8. NON-MAINTENANCE AND FORFEITURE

The hold-out amount shall be forfeited in full in favor of the Bank if any of the following occurs:

a. Failure to maintain the pledged ADB for 12 months

b. Closure of the enrolled account prior to completion of the monitoring period

c. Migration of the account to a segment outside BBS or ComBank

d. Violation of any Promo eligibility rules

For cases of partial non-maintenance, a pro-rated deduction shall apply based on the formula:
(Total Hold-Out Amount ÷ 12 months) × Number of Months Below ADB. Refer to Section 5 for full details.

The Client agrees that forfeiture shall be final and irrevocable.

9. CLIENT REPRESENTATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The Client represents that:

• All information provided is true and correct
• The signatory is duly authorized to enroll the account
• The Client fully understands the Promo mechanics, risks, and consequences of non-compliance

The Client acknowledges that the Bank’s determination of eligibility, compliance, and reward entitlement shall be final and binding.

10. BANK RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS

The Bank reserves the right to:

• Validate eligibility and ADB computations
• Disqualify any account found to be ineligible or non-compliant
• Suspend, modify, or terminate the Promo in case of fraud, system issues, regulatory requirements, or force majeure, with prior notice.

11. TAXATION

2026 BetterRewards: Gadget Promo is non-taxable.

12. GENERAL

Clients participating in this Promo have the responsibility to review the terms and conditions governing the Promo, other opening and maintenance of accounts, including those on Data Privacy, as well as other terms and conditions

governing deposit products, services, and/or facilities, and acknowledge that the terms and conditions may be amended from time to time, with notice.

11. COMPLAINTS REPORTING.

The Bank shall be notified in writing of questions/ errors related to the 2026 BetterRewards: Gadget Promo (i.e. fresh funds computation and crediting of Pluxee Gift Codes etc.) within sixty (60) banking days after enrollment

date. If no questions/ errors reported within the said period, the Pluxee GC crediting shall be considered final and correct and shall be binding upon the qualified customer.
