This coming October 6, 2019, Security Bank will update its Customer Service Hotline Number to 8-887-9188 and Trunkline Number to 8-867-6788 in compliance with the National Telecommunications Commission order for all companies in the Philippines to migrate telephone numbers with a “02” area code (from the existing 7-digit format) to an 8-digit format. This is to make room for more assignable exchange codes.

1. What is the NTC Memorandum Circular 10-102017 about?
   The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has ordered all companies in the Philippines to migrate all telephone numbers with “02” area code from the existing 7-digit format to an 8-digit format last October 27, 2017.
2. When is this effective?
   The scheduled migration is set on October 6, 2019 at 12:00 to 5:00am.
3. What are the affected areas?
   Telephone numbers in Metro Manila, Rizal Province, San Pedro, Laguna and Bacoor, Cavite with (02) area code.
4. What should the I do?
   Clients only have to add “8” before the seven-digit hotline and trunkline numbers to contact us.
5. What are the new important numbers to remember?
   New hotline number is (02) 888-791-88.
   New trunkline number is (02) 886-767-88
6. Why are we migrating to an 8-digit numbering format for telephone numbers within (02) area code?
   To efficiently allocate exchange codes in areas with “02” area code. (This is to make room for more assignable exchange codes)
7. How will we be informed with this change?
   Security bank will make use of the following channels – hotline, social media, and website to cascade this change
