Christmas season is in full swing! With yuletide celebrations and impromptu gatherings around every corner, it’s important to look your best. That’s why Security Bank partnered with Status Salon to bring you a 15% discount on all services (that includes everything from a straightforward shampoo and blow dry to an all-out, flawless airbrush makeup makeover) at all 5 branches in Metro Manila.

We sent our resident office fashionista, Paola, to check it out and bring back the scoop. Here’s what she had to say.

I rarely wear heavy makeup at the office – my everyday look is more “natural chic.” But with all the holiday festivities, I wanted to upgrade my beauty game. Getting beautiful on a budget can be a big challenge, so when our [Security Bank’s] marketing department finalized their tie up with Status Salon, I thought it was the perfect time to get a makeover.

Status Salon is known for cutting on-trend, hip hairstyles. But a quick search on Google made it clear that the salon was just as good at creating on-point makeup looks for every peg between girl next door to glamazon.

I booked a hair and makeup appointment at their Eastwood Branch with makeup artist Gracie and hair stylist Page. Here’s a picture of me, makeup-free, before the curling and face painting – please don’t mind my incomplete eyebrows!

I requested for a simple yet elegant look that I could take from office to evening. Before the session began, Gracie asked me several questions about my skin type while Page inspected how my hair was cut. I love it when stylists ask and listen to what their customers want instead of just doing what they feel is “bagay” to their customers.

I loved the result so much I asked for the addition of some playful lip colors for a little drama. The end result? Ready for the Holidays!
