Divine intervention? Maybe. One thing’s for sure though–it all started with saving. Ms. Sheila Gorres of Paranaque was recently hailed as the grand prize winner of the ‘Tick Your Bucket List Promo’ netting her P100,000 cash in winnings.

Launched in March 2016, the promo encouraged existing Security Bank account holders to pursue their life goals and dream adventures by starting a habit of saving. By depositing at least P5,000 monthly from March to June, clients automatically qualified for it.

For her part, Ms. Gorres, who has a joint AllAccess account with her husband in BF Paranaque branch, winning the promo is an absolute “answered prayer.” According to her, it lets them “beef up” their budget for their upcoming Marian pilgrimage in Europe this October. While they’ve already ticked off some of the items in their bucket list, their Marian pilgrimage is the one they’re most excited about – being devout Catholics. They also plan to share a portion of their winnings to their Catholic community, of which they are active members.

Aside from Ms. Gorres, five other Security Bank clients won consolation prizes of P5,000 each:
