The Philippine stock market has been erratic due to various economic issues here and abroad the past few months. Investors have taken out money from our stock market which caused an estimated 23.8% drop in the PSEI and massive increase in other products’ interest rate.

To date, Security Bank Corporation tagged as SECB in the stock market is currently available at 136 Pesos per share.

The table above shows how rapid the bank’s growth in earnings has been in 5 years.  Security Bank earned twice as much as other countinghouses with bigger assets while having a shaky stock market.

He pointed out the company’s gigantic loan income growth, from 7.9 Billion pesos in 2013 to 17.36 Billion Pesos last year. This only shows how the healthy organic revenue flow of SBC is according to him.

Germo also highlighted the bank’s 2018 achievements including the Best Bank in the Philippines award given by Global Finance. Adding to its international prestige, Security Bank is the only financial institution in the Philippines to have the largest equity investment from a foreign investor.

Marvin ended his review by saying how attractive Security Bank is financially and how it is emerging to become a major player in its industry.
