How to purchase a used car via Buy Now

Choose your car. Browse our list of used cars. You may view the cars in person by visiting our showrooms to fully inspect them prior making offers.

Fill up the client information sheet, prepare 2 valid IDs with 3 specimen signatures, and deposit the required PHP100,000 reservation fee.
Payment via the following channels:
-OTC at any SBC branch (Bills payment or deposit to ISA ROPA ACCOUNT 1540-0601-30201)
-SBC Online via Bills Payment -> SBC PMD ROPA Vehicle
Once these are prepared, click the BUY NOW button on your selected unit and fill up the form.

Wait for confirmation. Buy Now Offers are provided feedback within 1 banking day. If no feedback within 24 hrs, please send us an email at [email protected] with your payment and requirements.

Provide full payment within the next banking day (or as indicated in your award notice).

Drive your car. Congratulations! Your car will be available after a full successful transaction.

What are Used Cars?
Used Cars or Bank-Repossessed Cars are vehicles that came from the Bank’s Auto Loan Borrowers who defaulted in their loan obligation.
What car brands are available in your warehouse?
There are affordable and high-quality used cars for sale available from popular car brands such as Subaru, BMW, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford, Hyundai, Nissan, etc. Check out the full list of available cars here. Please note that the availability of the units listed is subject to change without prior notice. The roster of available units is updated weekly.
Are the vehicles for sale in good condition?
Car conditions may vary per unit. To assure quality, cars may be viewed in our showrooms.
What is the Minimum Bid Price?
The minimum bid price is the lowest acceptable offer under the weekly bidding process
How do I make an offer/bid?
You can make an offer for the “Buy Now” units every Monday and Tuesday by clicking the “Buy Now” button located at the lower right corner of the specific unit interested in. The bids can be made for units under the weekly bidding every Wednesday to Sunday by clicking the “Make Offer” button located at the lower right corner of the specific unit interested in or by filling up the forms and submitting the same to our branches and or via email of [email protected] on or before the Sunday deadline (weekly). Please ensure that when submitting manual forms an acknowledgement is sent by ROPA Auto Sales, no acknowledgement means non-receipt.
What happens if my offer is below the Minimum Bid Price?
All offers will be part of the weekly tabulation wherein the highest offer received shall be awarded of the unit. If the highest bidder decides not to pursue the unit, then the Bank shall re-award it to the 2nd highest bidder, up to the 20th highest acceptable bid. If the unit remains unsold, the unit will be part of another sale via a different channel. If awarded multiple units and the bidder did not pursue at least 50%, said bidder will be disqualified for 3 straight cut-offs.
When will I get notified of the results of my bid?
The Buy Now happens every Monday and Tuesday and the result of the offer under this program is released to the buyer within 1 banking day. For the weekly bidding, cut-off is every Sunday and the results are announced 3-4 banking days thereafter.
If my mode of payment is Auto Loan, do I apply for an Auto Loan?
Please wait for the awarding confirmation before applying for an Auto Loan. Kindly note that units under the “Buy Now” program are not eligible for an Auto Loan.
How do I provide payment?
For Cash Sales, full payment should be made within 2 banking days upon award notification from Security Bank. Employees of Security Bank applying for their car plan benefit will be considered under Cash Sales. For LOG/Auto Loan, this is not applicable for Buy Now purchases.
How do I find out if a unit is available?
Availability of units listed is subject to change without prior notice. The roster of available vehicles is updated weekly. The client agrees with the quality and condition of the unit before submitting the offer.
Can I offer multiple times for the same unit?
Yes, but offers of bidders with up to first degree of consanguinity, including common-law spouses, shall be considered as one offer. The Bank will capture only the highest offer.
