The Role
As a Swift Officer, you will be responsible for the prompt and accurate dispatch of authorized SWIFT and RTGS messages in compliance with the existing work standards and procedures.
How you’ll contribute
- Coordinates with ITG for SWIFT-related problems by reporting the nature of the problem via email, MS Teams, or telephone to get resolutions
- Authorizes outgoing messages in case the Authorizer is not around based on the approved documents provided by the units to dispatch the SWIFT message
- Prepares SWIFT Outgoing Volume Report based on the uploaded SWIFT message file to provide management of MIS report
- Acts as alternate OR Coordinator for the unit based on the Operational Risk Management Framework of the bank to comply with the tasks mandated to the operations risk coordinator
- Reviews all outgoing SWIFT messages are duly acknowledged by the system via checking in the SWIFT Message File under the Network Status column with ‘Network Ack’ notation to determine whether the outgoing messages were successfully transmitted
- Ensures the accuracy of the distribution of SWIFT charges to Head Office Units and Branches via the SWIFT record of Outgoing Sequence Numbers with the corresponding profit center to correctly charge the HO unit or branches
What we’re looking for
- Must have a Bachelor’s or College degree
- At least 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledgeable in banking and SWIFT operations with a CIP mindset
- Must be willing to work in shifting schedule and in extended hours
