Terms and Conditions
- The Security Bank Telesales Welcome Gift Promo (“Promo”) is open to select new Principal credit cardholders Bank customers who:
- who received the invitation from Security Bank via Telesales during promo period.
- will apply for a Security Bank Gold or Platinum Mastercard via Telesales channel within the Promo Period and whose applications are approved within 30 calendar days from promo end date and
- and did not have any previous or existing Principal credit card issued by Security Bank or have not applied for any of the cards mentioned above in the last six (6) months.
- Promo Period is from October 8, 2025 to March 31, 2026 as approved by DTI-FTEB.
- A cardholder may only qualify for one acquisition promo at any given time. If a cardholder is approved for multiple cards or qualifies for two or more cards under different acquisition promos within the same period, he/she will be entitled to only one (1) welcome gift. The welcome gift will be applied to the first credit card approved for the cardholder.
- The newly approved Principal cardholder shall be entitled to receive the Welcome Gift upon meeting the single or accumulated spend requirement within sixty (60) calendar days from the card approval date (“Spend Period”).
Card Type Spending Requirement Welcome Gift Gold and Platinum Mastercard PHP500 PHP300 universal eGC PHP500 universal eGC PHP1,000 universal eGC PHP1,500 universal eGC - Validity Period of the eGift Code: 60 calendar days upon receipt of the eGC code. Once the eGC code is redeemed, the value of eGC will not expire.
- The redemption process for this Promo will be as follows:
- The eGift code will be sent to the qualified cardholder’s registered mobile number based on Security Bank’s records within 30 calendar days from date of meeting the spending requirement.
- The cardholder must visit the Security Bank’s official website and go to Personal > Cards > Promos > Welcome Gift > Acquisition > Security Bank TeleSales Acqui Promo;
- The cardholder must click the redemption button, which will lead to the Giftaway redemption site, then provide the unique eGift code and other personal information, as required ;
- Cardholder must click on the redeem button to claim the welcome gift, eGC terms and conditions shall be provided per merchant
- The following are NOT qualified usage transactions:
- Cash Advances via ATM or over the counter
- Balance Transfer / Ready Cash / Convert to ChargeLight
- Recurring payments and utility payments enrolled in Bills Assist
- Fees and Charges
- Disputed Transactions
- All types of gaming transactions and transactions generated from activities that involve a bet or a game of chance for money or other desired stakes.
- Transactions with merchants specifically engaged in wholesale (e.g., warehouse clubs) and distributions (multi-level marketing)
- Quasi Cash Fee (This is a service fee charged to transactions that involve the purchase of foreign currency or items used for gaming/gambling transactions and/or transactions made at gaming/gambling establishments, including the placement of wagers, purchase of lottery tickets, gaming chips, as well as any other values in conjunction with any gaming or gambling activity.)
- By redeeming through Giftaway, the cardholder is responsible for providing his/her personal information and other information that may be required by Giftaway, and agrees that such information shall be subject to the confidentiality, data privacy, and security terms of Giftaway.
- All terms and conditions relating to the eGCs and its their use as indicated in the Security Bank and Giftaway website shall apply.
- The personal information we collect from you will be used, or shared by Security Bank to third parties (including related companies, third party service providers, and third-party sellers), for the completion of the redemption process. Further, the Cardholder, by participating in the Promo agrees to receive SMS/text messages or e-mails in relation thereto, such as but not limited to SMS or e-mails confirming earning of redemption code upon completion of qualified purchase.
- The Promo can be availed of only once. A cardholder who has already made a redemption under the Promo may no longer redeem again. In case the Principal cardholder is found to have made multiple/invalid redemptions or is found to have redeemed using fraudulent schemes, Security Bank shall have the right to charge the cost of the welcome gift to the Principal cardholder’s Security Bank credit card.
- All questions or disputes regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for the Promo, redemption, coverage of dates and fulfillment, shall be resolved by Security Bank with the concurrence of DTI.
- Exchanging of the welcome gift for another welcome gift under another promo is not allowed.
- The eGift code is non- transferrable, not convertible to cash, non-refundable, and not replaceable when lost, and is not for sale. Lost or deleted codes may be requested subject to validation by Security Bank in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Promo pertaining to redemption and use.
- Other credit card products of Security Bank, including Security Bank Employee Card, that are not stated on the qualified list of cards are not eligible to join this Promo.
- The cardholder should maintain his/her card account in good credit standing* for at least 12 months from approval. Otherwise, the cost of the welcome gift will be charged back to the Principal cardholder’s account.
- The cardholders who request for card cancellation during the Promo Period, and thereafter request for card reactivation shall not be eligible to join the Promo.
- This Promo cannot be used in conjunction with other ongoing credit card promos of Security Bank and is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Security Bank Mastercard credit cards.
- Cardholders who replace, upgrade, downgrade or convert to another credit card product such as but not limited to Complete Cashback card and Classic card within the Promo Period will not be eligible to join this Promo.
