Terms and Conditions
- This is open to Principal Cardholders who:a. Have at least one (1) of the following Security Bank credit cards:
- Classic Mastercard
- Gold Mastercard
- Titanium (Next) Mastercard
- Platinum Mastercard
b. Under active status and in good credit standing*
c. Currently has no existing supplementary card linked to his/her account
- Clients may apply through the following channels:
- Branch: Applied through Security Bank Branches
- Telesales: Applied through Telesales Call Out
- Online: Applied through Security Bank’s Official Website
- The application will still be subject for evaluation and approval.
- Only the first approved supplementary card applied is qualified to get waived annual fee for life.
- All questions or disputes regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for the redemption, coverage dates, and fulfillment shall be resolved by Security Bank.

- We may share information about you (except medical) within the Security Bank Group or our affiliates (such as, but not limited to, our partner Bancassurance Companies and their third-party service providers). Information includes any credit or other information obtained from your application or from consumer reports. Information that you provided may be used to develop offerings from Security Bank and its affiliates that you may receive from time to time through our communication channels.
- Other alterations, amendments or new rules, which do not involve the manner of computation of the outstanding balance and the amount of fees to be imposed on the Principal/Supplementary Cardholder, shall be posted, in the Bank’s premises/branches or in the Bank’s website, and such notice shall be presumed to have been read and understood by the Principal/Supplementary Cardholder and shall be binding upon the Principal/Supplementary Cardholder as fully as though assented to by the Principal/Supplementary Cardholder. Continued retention or use of the Card is tantamount to acceptance of/concurrence on the amendments to the terms and conditions.
- Existing and subsequent Terms and Conditions, which may or may not be outlined herein, governing the Primary Credit Card shall also be applicable to the Supplementary Credit Card.
*Cardholders in good credit standing are those with Security Bank Mastercard credit cards which are not on hold for being reported, lost, or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud and who’s not violated any of the terms and conditions.

| Foreign Exchange Transactions | All charges, advances, or amounts in currencies other than Philippine Peso (PHP) shall be converted to PHP. For dual currency, all charges, advances, or amounts in currencies other than Philippine Peso (PHP) shall be billed in US Dollar (USD). All transactions will be converted using Mastercard’s currency conversion rate at the time of posting. All converted transactions shall be charged with 1% Mastercard assessment fee and 1.5% service fee, of the rates of which may be adjusted from time to time. The service fee shall likewise apply to transactions involving foreign currencies converted to PHP at point of sale, whether executed in the Philippines, abroad, or online. Service fees may also be charged to cover costs incurred to discharge the amount(s) due to Mastercard and/or acquiring bank and/or foreign merchant affiliates. | ||||||

The Minimum Amount Due (MAD) for your credit card will be computed as follows: 3% of total amount due or PHP500 (USD10), whichever is higher, plus overlimit and overdue amount if any.

1 Cash Advance made overseas shall be subject to the fees of the servicing foreign franchise or bank. 2Quasi-cash or cash-like transactions are based on the Merchant Category Code (MCC) assigned by the acquiring bank. Quasi-cash fee will be applied to transactions involving gaming or gambling activities, including wagers, lottery tickets, and gaming chips, as well as any other values in conjunction with any gaming or gambling activity. Effective October 12, 2025, the same fee will also apply to purchases of cryptocurrency*, and deposit accounts funding transactions— including cash-ins through financial institutions, e-wallets, and other similar platforms. *Cryptocurrency is defined as a digital or virtual currency that can be used to buy goods and services, investments, or for trading purposes. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for the list of Quasi-cash MCCs. 3Overlimit fee will be charged once the outstanding balance exceeds the approved limit. Please refer to Credit Cards Terms and Conditions for the full description. 4Change in credit card statement cut-off fee shall be charged for every request to change your Security Bank Credit Card’s Statement Cut-off. 5Unpaid minimum amount due refers to the total minimum amount due charged against the client for the latest billing cycle. Partial payment of the minimum amount due as appearing on the SOA will not reduce the “minimum amount due” to be imposed against the client as late payment fee. 6A reinstatement fee will be charged to past due accounts and cancelled cards that have been reinstated. Please refer to Credit Cards Terms and Conditions for the full description. 7The annual fee for the first supplementary card will be waived if the primary cardholder's account is in active status and in good credit standing. For bills not paid in full, the corresponding interest per card type will be applied to the Total Amount Due in your Statement of Account based on your average daily balance. A corresponding Late Payment Fee per card type will be charged to your card account if payment is not received on or before the Payment Due Date. Security Bank reserves the right to change said fees and charges from time to time with prior notice. 8Next Mastercard feature is auto-installment. Authorization
By submitting this form, I confirm that the information I provided is true and correct. I authorize Security Bank to seek confirmation from external sources it deems appropriate to verify the information I provided. I also acknowledge that information on my deposit accounts, placements or credit dealings, and any other information may be requested as part of the credit card approval process.
I also acknowledge that falsifying information on the enclosed documents is sufficient ground for legal action and for the rejection of my application. I understand that should my application be declined, Security Bank Corporation has no obligation to furnish the reason for such rejection. By signing at the back of the card delivered to me, I signify my agreement to Security Bank’s Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, I acknowledge that in case of issuance of a supplementary card, I and my supplementary/ies and/or surety/ies shall be jointly and severally liable for all information about the supplementary cardholder/s as well as all purchases, and cash advances made, including all interest and charges incurred through the use of the supplementary card/s and that in the event of delinquency, I hereby authorize Security Bank Corporation to report and include my/our names in the negative listings of any credit card bureau or institution. I waive any defense of minority, illiteracy, or non-filiation on any supplementary cardholder/s. Such responsibility shall only cease upon my written request for the supplementary card privileges to be terminated.
Further, I hereby give consent for Security Bank Corporation to share and process any information relating to my account/s to any member of the Security Bank Corporation Group of Companies and Bancassurance companies or their authorized Service Providers and representatives, for purposes of cross-selling products and services, profiling and credit evaluation/reference checks, audit and account balance confirmation and allow them to contact us for this purpose (i.e. by e-mail, telephone, text, etc.), or in case of audit where our account is chosen as a sample for account balance confirmation, which shall remain in effect for five (5) years after account closure. I also authorize SBC to process, transfer, share and disclose any information relating to my credit data, telecom or mobile usage data or “telco score” to credit info data providers or credit scoring service providers (i.e. Globe Telecom, Inc., Smart Telecommunications, Inc., and other telecommunications service provider), for the purpose of credit verification, collection, credit review and credit scoring/analytics, and statistical and risk analysis.
I have read and understood SBC’s Data Privacy Notice which is made available at https://www.securitybank.com/security-information/ and acknowledge that SBC will keep my personal information for as long as necessary to best serve me during the duration of the relationship and in accordance with retention limits set by law once the account has been closed. SBC’s Data Privacy Notice also outlines my other rights in the event I have issues with how SBC is processing my information. I am likewise aware that I can refuse the processing of my information or withdraw my consent to the further processing of my personal data unless (1) the processing is required pursuant to a subpoena, lawful order, or as required by law; or (2) the collection and processing is pursuant to the performance of or in relation to the Credit Card Terms and Conditions; or (3) the information is being collected and processed as a result of a legal obligation.
I hold Security Bank Corporation free and harmless from any and all liabilities, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature in connection with or arising from this disclosure or reporting.
