In 2010, Security Bank Foundation, Inc. (SBFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of Security Bank Corporation, launched the “Regalo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko (RMKK) Employee Giving Project”. The aim was to generate funds to support the education of Security Bank’s agency personnel and their children through the help of the Bank’s employees and clients.
The project annually supports a total of 120 scholars across the country - 36 elementary students, 40 junior high students, 20 senior high students and 24 college students. As of 2020, the project helped 34 RMKK scholars earn their college degrees where 3 have been employed in Security Bank

Three college graduates of the RMKK scholarship program are now working in Security Bank.
One of them is Jenica Cabacaba, an Agency Personnel Scholar who is currently employed as an account officer handling online applications of car loans at Security Bank in Makati. Cabacaba is the daughter of a security guard who works at the Security Bank Main Office on Ayala Avenue in Makati City. The scholarship provided by the Bank started when she was still in high school and continued until college. Through the scholarship, Cabacaba was able to finish a degree in Business Administration major in Marketing Management at Arellano University in Manila, where she graduated cum laude in 2015. "The scholarship motivated me to study harder. My father was so happy and proud because I did not only finish college, but I finished the course with honors. And I am really thankful to Security Bank for all the financial assistance that put me through school."
Christin Joy Canilao, a scholar who graduated in 2019, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management degree from the San Pedro College of Business Administration, and was already employed in Security Bank as Better Banking Specialist shared that the Security Bank Foundation scholarship gave her the opportunity to improve as a young professional. “The scholarship given by Security Bank Foundation helped me strive harder to finish my degree in Marketing Management. And now that I’m already working with the bank, my parents and I are beyond grateful because the Bank gives me the opportunity to grow and excel in my chosen career,” added Canilao.
Janielle Tactay, a scholar who graduated in 2019, earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education major in English degree from the Gordon College in Olongapo City, and was also employed as a Bank Teller in Security Bank - Imus Cavite Branch, shared her journey as a scholar and as a working professional. “My life journey has never been easy. I had to face a lot of difficulties. The Security Bank Foundation scholarship became my hope and gave me strength throughout my years in college. It gave me opportunities and helped me finish my studies. Now that I have graduated, I gained more confidence to succeed in life. I was also fortunate to work in Security Bank. I am very grateful to Security Bank for helping me. I hope Security Bank can help more students achieve their dreams.”
