- Excluded from the promo are the following: Security Bank Corporate cards and Debit cards. Next Titanium Mastercard is also excluded for all Pay in Installment transactions.
- Campaign period is from July 15, 2023 to September 15, 2023 extended until October 31,2023, as approved by DTI FTEB.
- In this campaign, cardholders who will use their Security Bank Mastercard credit card for at least PHP35,000 minimum single-receipt spend within the campaign period will receive an eGift

- Cardholders can qualify maximum of two (2) times for the entire campaign period when he/she reaches the minimum spend requirement within the promo period. Transactions will be qualified based on their transaction dates; thus their 3rd installment transaction will no longer qualify for an eGift.
- Cardholders must be registered through the Giftaway microsite to qualified for the promo.
- The following transactions are considered qualified for the campaign.
- In-store Merchant Installment (0% ChargeLight, Charge Now, Pay Later, Regular Installment) including those with voice approvals.
- OFF US Installments (online and instore) via Mastercard Pay in Installments (Pinelabs)
- However, the following are NOT considered qualified transactions:
- Local and International Straight Transactions;
- Cash advances made via ATM or over-the-counter and cash in to load e-wallets/prepaid cards such as Maya, GCash, Money transfers or any similar transactions;
- Mail Order/Telephone Order (MOTO) Transactions;
- Bills Assist (Continuous Billings) Transactions or transactions under Security Bank’s Auto-Debit Arrangement;
- Security Bank In-House Installment Programs such as Balance Transfer, Ready Cash, Balance Conversion and SimplyPay and Convert to Chargelight.
- Online payments (which includes electricity, water, telco, insurance and other utility bills)
- Online straight transactions
- Voice approval (except for merchant installment); and
- All types of gaming transactions and transactions generated from activities that involve a bet or a game of chance for money or other desired stakes;
- The following transactions are considered qualified for the campaign.
- Registration Process for this campaign is as follows:
- Principal credit cardholders of qualified Security Bank Mastercard credit cards will receive communication materials through any of the following channels: EDM, Viber/SMS. The communication material will contain a unique source code.
- The cardholder must visit Security Bank’s official website and go to Personal > Cards > Promo > Featured > 0% Mid-year Installment Festival
- Click on ‘Register Now’ button to be redirected to the registration microsite.
- Cardholder needs to input the Unique Source Code, last 6 digits of the credit card, email address and mobile number.
- Cardholders will receive a system-generated auto reply to confirm receipt of their registration. An SMS confirming the successful registration will be sent to the cardholder within 7 banking days upon date of registration.
- For Next Mastercard transactions, only in-store merchant installment will be qualified. All transactions that are auto-converted are not qualified.
- Transactions made by supplementary credit cardholders will automatically be tagged under their respective principal credit cardholders’ accounts.
- The redemption process for the campaign is as follows:
- The eGift code will be sent to the qualified cardholder’s mobile number once the cardholder meets the requirement. If there is no valid mobile number registered or the cardholder fails to receive the SMS, the cardholder must call the bank’s Customer Contact Center Hotline at +632 8887-9188 to request updating of contact information.
- For cardholders with multiple mobile numbers, Security Bank will use the first mobile number registered to the cardholder’s account.
- Valid transactions made by the Principal Cardholder and his/her Supplementary Cardholder(s) will be accumulated and shall be considered as the Principal Cardholder’s total qualified transactions under this promo.
- The cardholder must visit Security Bank’s official website and to Personal > Cards > Promotions > Featured
- To redeem, the cardholder must click the redemption button and the cardholder needs to provide the unique eGift code (10-character key) sent via Giftaway.
- Cardholder must choose from the list of merchants and click on the Redeem button to claim eGift voucher. eGift terms and conditions shall be provided per merchant.
- The eGift code will be sent to the qualified cardholder’s mobile number once the cardholder meets the requirement. If there is no valid mobile number registered or the cardholder fails to receive the SMS, the cardholder must call the bank’s Customer Contact Center Hotline at +632 8887-9188 to request updating of contact information.
- The eGift will be sent to the Primary cardholder’s registered mobile number within 30 banking days after the end of the promo period.
- For cardholders with dual currency feature, the overseas spend will be computed based on Security Bank’s daily conversion rate.
- eGift terms and conditions per merchant are provided upon redemption.
- Security Bank may not replace the eGift due to failure of the cardholder to update his/her mobile number.
- A single purchase transaction requires only one approval. Splitting into smaller transaction sizes and consequently requiring multiple transaction approvals will not be allowed.
- Security Bank may also charge to the cardholder’s account the cost of resending of the SMS due to, but not limited to, the following reasons: (a) mobile number has recently been updated; (b) SMS is accidentally deleted.
- If the cardholder subsequently disputes the very same transaction which he used for the redemption of the eGift, the cost of the eGift shall be charged to the cardholder’s account. The cardholder shall be informed via email or phone call that this shall be charged to his/her account.
- If there is any instance of fraud on the part of the cardholder with regards to the transaction used for the redemption of the item, the Bank reserves the right to charge the cost of the eGift to the cardholder’s account, as well as other remedies available to it under the law.
- The eGift cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
- The cardholder should maintain his/her card account in good** credit standing for at least 12 months from approval. Otherwise, the cost of the eGift will be charged back to the cardholder’s account.
- The personal information we collect from you will be used, or shared with third parties (including related companies, third party service providers, and third-party sellers), for the completion of the redemption process for Security Bank. Further, the Cardholder agrees to receive SMS/text messages or e-mails in relation to the Promo, such as but not limited to SMS or e-mails confirming earning of redemption code upon completion of qualified purchase.

**Cardholders in good credit standing are those with Security Bank Mastercard credit cards which are not on hold for being reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Terms and Conditions.
