Terms and Conditions
- The Q2 Low FX Fee Promo is open to select Security Bank Mastercard Principal credit cardholders who have received communication materials from Security Bank and whose accounts are in good credit standing during the promo period.
- In this campaign, cardholders can get 0.90% credit on Foreign Exchange Fees (instead of the regular 2.5%) when using their card for foreign spend within the promo period. No minimum amount required.
- Promo period is from May 1 to July 31, 2025.
- ALL Online or In-store foreign transaction spend within the campaign period are considered qualified. The following are the criteria for qualified transactions:
- Must be done using a qualified Security Bank credit card within the promo period.
- Must be charged in foreign currency and should not be converted to Peso at point of sale (POS)
- Dual currency credit cards are excluded from the campaign.
- The credit will be computed on a per transaction basis. It will be credited to the cardholder’s credit card account within two (2) billing cycles from the end of the promo period, with the description of FX Rebate – Merchant Mame (1st 10 characters of merchant)
- Transactions not posted by August 10, 2025 (10 calendar days from the last day of the promo period which is July 31, 2025) shall not be qualified for the Promo
- After the end of the promo period, all foreign currency transactions processed/billed will be reverted to the 2.5% foreign exchange fee.
- When travelling overseas, Cardholders are encouraged to notify Security Bank before the trip by calling the Security Bank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 8887-9188 for convenient and smooth transaction monitoring.
- All questions or disputes regarding the cardholder’s eligibility for the promotion, redemption, coverage of dates and fulfillment, shall be resolved by Security Bank with the concurrence of DTI.

*Cardholders in good credit standing are those with Security Bank Mastercard credit cards which are not on hold for being reported lost or stolen, whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to proven fraud, and those who have not violated any of the Security Bank Credit Card Terms and Conditions.
