Security Bank Foundation, Inc., a non-stock, non-profit foundation, was registered with the SEC on August 25, 1993. The Foundation started its operations in February 1999. On March 26, 2001 the Board of Trustees of the Foundation approved the change of the name of SBC Foundation, Inc. to Security Bank Foundation, Inc. SEC approved the amendment on June 27, 2001.
