| Who can avail of Security MobileBanker? |
| Only SBC clients who maintain either a Checking Account, Savings Account (CASA) and individual payroll accounts can avail of Security MobileBanker. The client should also be a SMART cellphone user. |
| What do I need to do to enjoy the benefits of Security MobileBanker? |
| If you are an SBC CASA accountholder, you just need to visit your depository branch to enroll in the facility. If you still don't have any CASA account with SBC, you will be asked to open one. |
| How long will the activation take? |
| Your Security MobileBanker facility will be activated after 24 hours. Upon activation, an MPIN or Mobile PIN will be sent to you via text messaging. Upon receipt of the MPIN, you will do the initial registration through your cellphone. From then on, Security MobileBanker for the client is activated. |
| Can anybody else access my Security MobileBanker? |
| No. However, if you give your MPIN and RKEY (Mobile Registration Key) to somebody else, that person may gain access to your accounts via the Security MobileBanker facility. |
| What is the difference between the MPIN and the
RKEY? |
| The MPIN is a four-digit password that will allow the client to use the Security MobileBanker, and would be needed for the completion of every transaction. The RKEY, on the other hand, is a six-digit alphanumeric identity code provided by the client upon enrollment.Both the MPIN and RKEY are needed for initial registration. |
| Can I change my
MPIN? |
| Yes. From your cellphone's mobile banking menu screen, just choose the option to change MPIN. If you don't have an STK SIM card, simply follow the SMS syntax to change your MPIN, as shown in the user's guide. |
| Which of my accounts can I access through Security MobileBanker? |
| You may access all your enrolled CASA accounts (Peso or Dollar accounts). |
| Can I enroll my Time Deposits (TD), ISA and placements? |
| Security MobileBanker is limited to CASA accounts. TD, ISA and placements are not included as a feature. |
| Can I transfer funds to accounts other than my enrolled accounts? |
| No. Funds can only be transferred to and from enrolled accounts. |
| Can I do fund transfers using my Dollar Account? |
| No. You can only perform balance inquiry and list accounts on your enrolled dollar accounts. |
| What about bills payment? Do I have to enroll the subscriber account number I wish to pay for? |
| Yes. |
| How can I reload prepaid cellphones other than my own prepaid cellphone? |
| For associated cell-to-cell reload, all prepaid cellphones other than your own cellphone should be enrolled. To reload these cellphones, just follow the Associated Cell-to-Cell Top-up syntax or choose it from the Smart Menu (for STK SIM card) |
| Can I reload any amount other than P300, P500 & P1,000? |
| NO. For subscribers who are SMS users or are using STK SIM cards, they can only reload the amounts P300, P500 & P1,000. |
