Security Bank Gets Quill Award

Leading universal bank, Security Bank Corporation (PSE: SECB) was recognized the with an Award of Merit at the recently concluded Philippine Quill Awards for its entry in the publication design category, the 2006 Annual Report “Shaped by Excellence”.
The Annual Report provides an in-depth review of the bank’s accomplishments for 2006. The recent award rides on the back of the company’s stellar feat of another impressive financial performance; topping over its peers in the industry with a 20 percent return on equities.
The design of the publication was inspired by the success of the bank, shaped through more than five decades of excellent banking service to its clients.
The Philippine Quill Awards is an annual recognition given by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), to the best communication programs and tools.
Security Bank head for corporate communication Rica B. Penalosa and communications officer Kriseline Jean Co (second and third respectively) receives the award from IABC Directors N. Jeric Sevilla of Manila Water Company and Chit Arce of GMA Network at the recognition night which was held at the Mandarin Hotel in Makati City.
