The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) awarded Security Bank Corporation The Anvil Award of Merit at the 43rd ANVIL AWARDS for the 2006 Annual Report "Shaped by Excellence" under the category "Tools of Public Relations".
Security Bank’s Annual Report provides an in-depth review of the bank’s accomplishments for 2006. The award validates the Bank’s excellent financial performance and record profitability. Security Bank has consistently placed on top of its peers in the industry, reporting an annualized return on equity of 26.6% as of the end of the first quarter in 2008.
It also reaffirms Security Bank’s commitment to create consistently excellent publications that delivers outstanding creative execution that clearly conveys its corporate objectives and strategies to its various stakeholders and target publics.
The Bank's 2006 Annual Report has been cited by both the Philippine Quill Awards and The Anvil, two of the most prestigious awards in the field of corporate communications.
