, Security Bank Corporation’s award winning cash
management system, upgraded its website’s Digital
Certificate to the more advanced and secured
Verisign SGC certificate last December 5, 2007.
This latest Verisign certificate allows DigiBanker
users with Internet Explorer version 7.0 browsers
to enjoy 256-bit encryption, the strongest
possible encryption that is available today
outside of the U.S. military. This is another
milestone for DigiBanker since this is the first
successful implementation of 256-bit encryption
for an Internet banking website here in the
Philippines. It is interesting to note that
DigiBanker was also the first domestic Internet
banking website to make use of 128-bit encryption
during its launch back in March 8, 2001. |
