Security Bank Corporation, one of the top private domestic universal banks in the country today, recently held their first ever President’s Cup Golf Invitational at the prestigious Orchard Golf and Country Club. Why is took the bank 55 years to organize such an event only SBC President and Chief Executive Officer Alberto S. Villarosa can explain.
“This year’s 55th anniversary celebration was the perfect venue to launch the first President’s Cup. In line with the anniversary theme, this event is another way to thank our clients for their patronage all these years.” said Villarosa.
The well-attended invitational tournament saw the Bank’s senior management sharing pleasantries on and off the golf course. Among the participants on hand were past SBC president Rafael “Babes” Simpao, National Treasurer Omar Cruz, Philippine Daily Inquirer Chairman Marixi Prieto, with husband Alex Prieto, Philippine Star Columnist Alex Magno, South City Church Pastor Gus Lising, Kingdom Builders President Paul Tanchi and Paramount Life’s George Tiu, just to name a few.
