(PSE:SECB) welcomed its 1,000th Internet-enabled corporate customer exactly three and a half years since the launch of Security DigiBanker™, a fully Internet-based suite of cash management solutions. In a statement, Security Bank Corporate Transaction Banking Division Head Emmanuel T. Narciso admitted that the number has far exceeded expectations. “It translates to almost 24 new customers a month. That’s about one per business day since we launched DigiBanker™ last March 8, 2001.”
